Hidden secrets

Ólafur Arnalds – 1440

This song gives me the chill each time I listen to it. It gives you mixed emotions.

One that brings your mind and soul to somewhere green, clear blue sky and a little cottage waiting for you to lookout from its crooked window while you enjoy the smell of fresh baked cookies. Subsequently, you rummaged through the dusty drawers only to find old letters and drawings you kept since you were young. The name you keep on muttering is far away, or gone. Which soon you realize, tears are draping like an endless river. You lay your head, sobbing uncontrollably. Wrapping your hands around only to see there isn’t any single soul to seek comfort.

Oh, the greatest dream to be where you’ve always wanted to be only to be possessed with regrets and misery.
